Ricky Patterson is the Director for Research Data Services and Social, Natural and Engineering Sciences team in the University of Virginia Library. This group comprises the STEM and Social Science Subject Liaisons, as well as the Research Data team (data access, discovery, and management, research software support, and statistical consulting).
Previously, he was a Senior Scientist in the Department of Astronomy where he also was a Lecturer and taught ASTR 1210 (Introduction to the Sky and Solar System) and ASTR 1230 (Introduction to Astronomical Observation).
