I joined the Procurement and Supplier Diversity Services (PSDS) IT Group as a web application developer in November of 2012. I enjoy working with data and programing applications to process data.

I became interested in database and application development while pursuing an Associate's degree in business management from Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC). That interest was the motivating factor that prompted me to continue my education in programming and database development. I completed my business management degree and went on to earn another Associate's degree from BRCC and a Bachelor's degree from James Madison University with a concentration in programming, database, and web application development.

Not surprisingly, I enjoy building databases and web applications in my spare time; I enjoy learning new technologies and using them. I also enjoy traveling with my wife and family, going on mountain bike rides, and playing acoustic and bluegrass music with my friends.

I enjoy being a member of the Business Services Group and working with the various departments of UVAFinance.
